  1. My boyfriend and I put our civil engineering degrees to good use every year with a gingerbread model of something cool. It’s a lot of fun, I hope you keep it up! You’re off to a good start for sure. Happy 2013!

  2. Goodness me, that cheesecake looks mighty fine. I totally agree, cakey cheesecake is the worst. I want it to have the texture of really thick custard, or really dense mousse…or something. Anyway, I’ll take a slice.

    I have this in the oven now. Making it for a 4th of July BBQ tomorrow. I like a richer cheesecake so I added a cup of sour cream and 1/2 a cup of heavy cream per another cheesecake recipe I use that calls for the same amount of cream cheese and eggs. Hope it turns out ok with my additions!
