    This brought me to tears, but also brought back lots of memories. We had fried chicken every Sunday except for when the weather was colder ant then it was usually pot roast. Fried chicken, her wonderful potato salad and fresh green beans cooked to death as they do in the south. Chess pie or banana pudding for dessert. She would love you sharing her story (although she might not be thrilled about the can of beer remark even though it’s true.)

    I just had lunch with your Dad!! He told me about your website and I had to check it out. My grandmother, Joe, made fabulous fried chicken as well. I love it, but hardly ever make it. I’ll have to try yours out. Cheers to wonderful grandmothers!!
