    That was really good. I just made this tonight for supper with my home made honey whole wheat. I think I used too much bread for the egg mixture because the first batch was awesome from frying in all that good butter. The second was dryer and less tasty. It smelled like Christmas cookies when it was cooking.

  2. Hi Julia, So glad you liked it! The egg to bread ratio is so hard to get right unless you use the same type of bread and the same size eggs every time (not easy!). I tend to keep an eye on things, and make sure the bread is quite sogged, if not, I add a splash or two more milk. Thanks for the feedback-I really appreciate it.
